One half boredom and one half genius and innovation and also one more half beer, Lowering Standards was launched in June of 2010 as another way for Patrick and Ryan, two awesome dudes who work at the same pizzeria, to waste time.
Ryan Tysinger is 22 years old and tactfully deciding his next career move. He is engaged to his girlfriend Sara who is by all accounts a slammin' hottie. He's also a pretty competent musician, primarily as a drummer, though his current project sees him playing bass in the same band as his co-host.
Patrick Cortes is also 22 but a little bit less of it than Ryan. Also a musician, Patrick is involved in 18,000 projects, half of which will probably take forever to see the light of day. He released a solo EP in June of 2009 and is currently working on both more solo material and a new indie/experimental band with Ryan called Ghosts of Atlas, where he sings and plays the occasional gee-tar. Patrick is an audio design student at the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, NC.
